Napoleon from Animal Farm

Figured I'd post something new so you guys can see what I've been up to. This is Napoleon from "Animal Farm", I drew this for Toon Club-- which is a lot of fun, and a little time consuming. I realize that he isn't on character as far as the time period of his costume, but I thought it gave him a 'haughty' air.

the bush dog

One of the projects I'm working on is a book about a grasshopper. I drew some sketches for this lady and one of her responses related to the sheep dog that was behind the tree in the background. I was a little confused because I didn't remember drawing a sheep dog so I tried remembering what I had drawn behind the tree, oh yeah, it was a bush.

everyone and their dog

I've decided that everyone and their dog has written a children's book or knows someone who has. And they all have no comprehension of how much illustrations cost nor how the industry works. Have any of you guys ran into some of those? I really don't know how to respond. The last one I heard I almost started laughing out loud. Well, I did start laughing actually, I just tried to hide it.

For the love of Illustrators

Sweet, byu illustrators I have found you! I feel like I have fallen off the illustration planet, here is one pic you've all seen but I still think its a memorable turning point for me.

What are you going to do with that?

When people say, "Illustration huh, what are you going to do with that?"
I like to respond with one of three canned answers listed below:

Rule the World
Make more money then you
Do People's Taxes
