That's the joy of Illustration. If you like something you can just steal it and say you were influenced by that person.
I love it when I tell people I majored in illustration, and then they ask, "......oh....so do you like, draw?" and I tell them, very seriously, "No, not at all--the program just felt sorry for me and let me in. I can't draw at all." They'll believe you, too. ( :
